As a Cleaner at Army HQ Andover SP11 8HT
, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral to the well‑being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of our team. You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forces personnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.

• Clean and maintain all designated areas to the required standards.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within the required timeframe.
• Safely use cleaning equipment, products and chemicals following appropriate training.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Complete all required training and follow instructions and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and PPE.
• Report accidents, near misses, hazards or faulty equipment to management.
• Communicate effectively with your manager, colleagues, customers and clients.
• Attend team briefings, meetings and performance reviews as required.
• Look after cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.
• Carry out manual handling duties where required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Essential:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties where required.
• Reliable, responsible and willing to learn.

Desirable:

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Experience working within a military environment.
