Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

We're working with a leading technology-driven organisation that specialises in advanced surveillance and AI-based camera systems. They're seeking a dynamic individual to take ownership of large-scale projects and deliver exceptional results.

This Project Manager role is an office-based role in Andover, Hampshire working on cutting-edge projects in an innovative environment offering a salary of £70,000 per annum. Due to the nature of the projects you will need to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Key responsibilities of this Project Manager role:

Acting as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
Leading project planning, execution, and governance processes.
Chairing project review meetings and reporting progress against key milestones.
Managing budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver projects on time and within cost.
Identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Overseeing subcontractors and partners to maintain quality standards.
Driving continuous improvement and spotting opportunities for follow-on business.
Mentoring and managing a Project Officer to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications and experience required for this Project Manager role:

Proven experience in project/program management within technical or defence sectors.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Project.
Solid understanding of financial reporting and risk management.
Experience delivering manufactured products/programs and managing client relationships.
Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).
Familiarity with MoD acquisition processes, ISO 9001 auditing, MRP systems and overseas government projects is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications such as APMP, PRINCE2 or an engineering background are highly advantageous.
