New Chapter Tuition is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a large and rapidly growing specialist Alternative Provision for an experienced Area Manager to oversee approximately 7-10 sites across the South Region.
The client is looking for a forward-thinking, proactive and hands-on leader who can anticipate challenges rather than simply react to them. This is a visible operational role, working directly with teams while also improving policies, procedures and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support teams across 7-10 Alternative Provision sites.
- Drive standards across educational delivery, safeguarding and operations.
- Conduct lesson observations and monitor learner outcomes.
- Support staff performance, development and accountability.
- Develop and embed effective policies, procedures and systems.
- Build strong relationships with schools, Local Authorities, families and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Manage your own diary, travel and changing operational priorities.
Previous education experience is essential, including educational delivery and working with schools, Local Authorities and/or education professionals. QTS is not required, and management experience may come from education or another fast-paced sector.
You’ll need excellent leadership, communication and time-management skills, with the confidence to take ownership and balance strategic improvements with day-to-day operational leadership.
This position is fully on-site with regular regional travel. Driving between sites forms part of working hours; however, flexibility is required, including occasional work outside standard hours and overnight stays where necessary.
A full UK driving licence is essential. No sponsorship available
