Continuous Improvement & Training Officer

Vitacress Salads is building a team of people who love improving the way things work. In this role you will make a real difference every single day as a Factory Continuous Improvement and Training Officer, helping teams across production, tech and management spot opportunities, solve problems and drive meaningful change.

Location: Vitacress Salads, St Mary Bourne, Andover
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 40 hours Monday – Friday or 48 hours 4 days on/4 days off
Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,686 or £32,881

• Support and lead Continuous Improvement projects that make our factory safer, smarter and more efficient.
• Dig into data, identify trends and help us make evidence‑based decisions.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis and guide teams to long‑lasting solutions.
• Create clear work instructions and ensure changes are trained out and sustained.
• Deliver training for new and existing colleagues, helping them feel confident and capable in their roles.
• Create and deliver toolbox talks that keep everyone informed, engaged and safe.
• Spend roughly 75% of your time on CI work and 25% on training.

You enjoy working with people, are not afraid to stand up and speak up, and can challenge when needed. You can manage your own workload, communicate clearly, and build strong relationships. Experience in a factory environment helps, and understanding Lean or Kaizen is a plus.

Train‑the‑Trainer skills, coaching in Microsoft Office, presentation skills, a full CI toolbox and the chance to gain your Yellow Belt qualification.
