Are you confident in your turning experience and looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work? Do you want to be the go‑to person for programming and setting FANUC‑controlled Doosan lathes? This CNC Turner position offers autonomy, technical challenge, and the chance to contribute directly to a precision engineering environment.

Working within a respected precision machining business supplying the aerospace, defence, nuclear, and oil and gas sectors, you will join a team known for delivering high‑accuracy components and complex machining solutions.

• Autonomy to programme, set, and run turning jobs from start to finish
• Hands‑on exposure to Doosan lathes with FANUC controls
• Opportunities to refine machining processes and support cycle time improvements

• Programming CNC Doosan lathes using FANUC controls
• Setting and operating machinery to produce precision‑turned components
• Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
• Conducting in‑process inspections and quality checks
• Adjusting tooling, offsets, and parameters to maintain accuracy
• Working to tight tolerances and established production targets

• Previous experience in a CNC Turner or CNC Programmer / Setter role
• Strong working knowledge of FANUC systems and Doosan lathes
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience with in a precision turning or machining environment
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
