Are you skilled in electrical wiring and assembly work? Do you take pride in high‑quality craftsmanship and precision? We're looking for a Production Wire person to join a busy manufacturing team, working across a range of electronic assemblies and components.
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, can read detailed diagrams, and wants to contribute to high‑standard production projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Wiring electronic assemblies following work orders, technical drawings, instructions, and approved programmes, ensuring all work meets required quality standards.
Inspecting and testing completed assemblies as needed.
Cutting, stripping, and terminating wires into connectors and electrical units.
Working independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Following production drawings, sample builds, and verbal instructions for assigned tasks.
Carrying out prototype wiring, crimping, and soldering to a high standard.
What You'll Bring
Essential Experience & Skills
Strong soldering and workmanship skills suitable for high standard sectors.
Solid organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with wiring tools, instruments, and trade techniques.
At least 2 years of wiring experience.
Electronic assembly experience within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of cable manufacture, looming, and electrical wiring practices.
Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
Desirable Qualities
Ability to quickly build strong working relationships across teams and levels.
Clear communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role.
