Role SummaryAs a Production Operative
, you will play an important hands‑on role in the assembly, soldering, and testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Working as part of a collaborative production team, you’ll use both manual techniques and automated equipment to help deliver high‑quality electronic products used in critical sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, Defence, and more.
- Assemble PCBs and electronic products in line with work instructions and SOPs
- Perform hand soldering to IPC standards (training can be provided)
- Clean PCBs after soldering, using approved processes and materials
- Operate automated and semi‑automated equipment for production and testing
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
- Comfortable working to targets individually and within a team
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of production
