X1 Earlies:
Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:15
Friday: 06:00 - 14:00
X1 Lates:
Monday - Thursday: 13:00 - 2300
X1 Nights:
Monday - Thursday: 10pm - 7am
About this Role:
We are seeking hard‑working and motivated individuals to join our dynamic Surface Mount team position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent teamwork and the ability to handle various tools and equipment.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of electronic components using modern Surface Mount Technology, contributing to the overall production process within our manufacturing environment.
Whilst Surface Mount experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have transferable machine operating or production experience within Electronics Manufacturing or similar.
- Running a Surface Mount line to production schedule
- Surface mount assembly of printed circuit boards (PCB’s), including pasting, printing and loading pick and place machines.
- Inspection prior and post reflow
- Interpret documentation including parts lists, drawings
- Follow documented procedures.
- Preventative maintenance tasks and general housekeeping of the SMT work area.
- Ensure all work carried out is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
- Ensure all work is carried out and completed in a timely fashion.
- Report any problems with products or process to the SMT production supervisor or production manager.
- Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations.
- Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy.
- Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements.
- Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business.
- Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained.
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team & follow instructions
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be advantageous
- Experience working in Electronics or an industry qualification is beneficial
