Active Staff are proud to be working with our prestigious client, who are on the lookout for an experienced Nights Production Team Manager to lead their Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, developing the team and supporting continuous improvement across the operation.

The working hours are Monday - Thursday 22:30pm - 06:30am

The role of the Nights Production Manager
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing production team.
  • Set clear objectives and monitor performance against production targets and KPIs.
  • Coach and support team members through regular feedback and training.
  • Monitor production schedules, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyse production data to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage production-related challenges, including material shortages and quality concerns.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
  • Produce performance reports and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong communication between production, management and other departments.
  • Resolve team issues, remove barriers to performance and promote a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safe working practices.
Experience of the Nights Production Manager
  • Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • A passion for developing people and driving continuous improvement
