Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes across upholstery, woodworking, and furniture production operations.
- Support the introduction of new products from concept through to full-scale production.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and deliver cost savings.
- Design and implement jigs, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids to improve efficiency and quality.
- Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within upholstery, furniture, woodworking, or a related industry.
- Demonstrable experience delivering cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Knowledge of woodworking processes, timber frame manufacturing, CNC machinery, or automated cutting technologies.
- Experience using CAD software and interpreting technical drawings.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within upholstery, furniture, woodworking, or a related industry.
