The Role
We’re recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join a precision engineering business producing high-tolerance machined components for regulated industries.
This is a hands-on inspection role with a strong focus on CMM programming and operation. You’ll be responsible for dimensional inspection of complex components, producing FAIR / ISIR documentation and ensuring full compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
CMM inspection experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Program and operate CMMs for dimensional inspection
 
* Inspect precision-machined components using CMM and manual methods
 
* Prepare and review FAIRs and ISIRs
 
* Verify material certification against drawings and specifications
 
* Record inspection results, non-conformances and corrective actions
 
* Support audits and quality investigations
 
* Maintain traceability, calibration and quality documentation
Essential Experience
 
* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector with CMM programming capability
 
* Strong understanding of AS9100 / ISO 9001
 
* Confident reading engineering drawings and GD&T
 
* Skilled using micrometres, calipers, gauges and inspection equipment
 
* Detail-focused, methodical and quality-driven
