Technical Quality Auditor (Nights) –
Location:
SMB. Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off | 6:00pm – 6:00am. Salary: £36,962.38 per annum.
Contract:
Permanent. The role involves ensuring food safety, quality and compliance across production.
- Conduct audits and inspections against QMS, GMP, GHP, and HACCP requirements.
- Assess products throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Identify, investigate, and report quality issues and non-conformances.
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze trends from audits, inspections, complaints, and non-conformance reports.
- Complete traceability exercises and mass balance checks.
- Carry out calibration checks on quality equipment.
- Work closely with Production, Technical, and Management teams to maintain site standards.
- Champion food safety, product quality, and continuous improvement.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
- Confident, proactive, and able to challenge standards when necessary.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communicator with good IT skills.
- Committed to maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, auditing, or compliance processes.
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Experience investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Develop technical and food safety expertise.
- Gain exposure to auditing, compliance, and quality management systems.
- Work alongside experienced Technical and Operational teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
