We're looking for a Technical Quality Auditor to join our Night Shift Team and help ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across our operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, quality, or compliance who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and growing business.
The RoleAs a Technical Quality Auditor, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the production process, from raw material intake through to finished product.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that products meet legal, customer, and company requirements while promoting a strong culture of quality and food safety throughout the site.
What You’ll Be Doing- Conducting audits and inspections against Quality Management Systems (QMS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP requirements.
- Assessing products throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Identifying, investigating, and reporting quality issues and non-conformances.
- Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Analysing trends from audits, inspections, complaints, and non-conformance reports.
- Completing traceability exercises and mass balance checks.
- Carrying out calibration checks on quality equipment.
- Working closely with Production, Technical, and Management teams to maintain site standards.
- Championing food safety, product quality, and continuous improvement.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
- Confident, proactive, and able to challenge standards when necessary.
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A strong communicator with good IT skills.
- Committed to maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, auditing, or compliance processes.
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Experience investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Develop your technical and food safety expertise.
- Gain exposure to auditing, compliance, and quality management systems.
- Work alongside experienced Technical and Operational teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
