8:30am to 5:00pm

TCS Consulting is supporting a globally respected engineering and manufacturing business in the search for an experienced and proactive Quality Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for leading quality assurance and compliance activities, while also overseeing HR and Health & Safety functions. The successful candidate will maintain management systems, ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement and support a positive quality culture across the organisation.
Responsibilitiesfor Quality Manager
As Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the Quality Management System, compliance activities, audit programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also act as a key point of contact for quality issues, customer complaints, supplier concerns and third-party certification bodies, while supporting HR and Health & Safety compliance across the business.
- Maintain and improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- Plan and lead audit programmes, root cause analysis and CAPA activity
- Manage compliance activities, company policies and quality documentation
- Track quality metrics and report QMS performance to senior management
- Act as the main contact for customer complaints, supplier quality issues and certification bodies
- Oversee Health & Safety requirements and support compliant HR policies and processes
The ideal candidate will have experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering, with a strong understanding of customer expectations, compliance requirements and quality systems. You should be confident influencing stakeholders, building relationships across departments and promoting a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.
- Experience in Quality Management, Quality Engineering or a similar compliance-focused role
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems
- Experience with audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical, organised and process-focused approach to problem-solving
- Ability to create clear reports, procedures and processes
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel occasionally
- ISO 17025:2017 awareness, auditor training or Health & Safety experience would be beneficial
