Ecommerce Merchandiser | Andover | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home) | £42k (c) + Excellent benefits package
The OpportunityHelp shape the online shopping experience for a growing UK business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business investing in its ecommerce offering and digital growth. You will take ownership of product merchandising, enhance the customer journey and help deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimise a large online product catalogue across multiple product categories.
- Ensure product pages are accurate, engaging and commercially effective, including product descriptions, specifications, imagery, pricing and digital assets.
- Coordinate new product launches and ongoing catalogue updates.
- Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to source product information, imagery, manuals and supporting content.
- Manage pricing updates and maintain product data accuracy across ecommerce platforms.
- Collaborate with Buying, Digital, UX and Marketing teams to continuously improve the online customer experience.
- Monitor product content quality and identify opportunities to improve merchandising standards and internal processes.
- Support the ongoing development of ecommerce systems and digital merchandising best practice.
We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Merchandiser who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional online customer experiences.
You'll ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Ecommerce Merchandising, Online Merchandising, Digital Trading or Product Content.
- Experience managing large online product catalogues within a retail or ecommerce environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CMS and/or Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with outstanding organisational skills.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of how effective merchandising drives online sales.
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external partners.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to identify improvements and take ownership.
Experience with in product-led ecommerce business would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
