We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years, and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders, through to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, from sole traders to senior executives.
  • Review and verify client documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive records for the quoting process.
  • Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high levels of renewal retention and exceed customer expectations.
  • Process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support high levels of client service and internal process execution.
  • Collaborate with Branch Manager to achieve team objectives and meet FCA requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documentation accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a varied daily work environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and support informed business decisions.
  • Understanding of FCA compliance standards is an advantage.
