As an Elite Security Officer, you will safeguard high-value assets, personnel, and premises through advanced security protocols and proactive threat mitigation. Exceptional situational awareness, professionalism and the ability to respond swiftly are essential.

• Protect customer property, people and/or assets across a designated area and multiple locations in accordance with published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, supporting contract retention.
• Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development.
• Travel to different locations within the predetermined geographical area.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
• Complete all on‑site tasks and duties as defined within the published AI’s.
• Review and familiarise yourself with any changes to the AI’s, suggesting amendments that would improve or enhance service levels.
• Maintain conformity with Industry and Statutory legislation, wearing the required front‑line licence at all times.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
• Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work systematically, methodically and orderly.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge.
• Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Identify and immediately report any health & safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
• Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
• Exercise common sense and initiative by promptly involving others if a situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and challenging customers.
• Record accurate, detailed notebook entries after any incident for the Incident Report process.
• Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the AI’s.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence (Door Supervisor, preferable).
• Own transport or access to public transport.
