looking for something different?

Marshall Truck & Van is looking for an experienced HGV driver who wants to take the next step in their career and move beyond the driving seat into a varied role combining customer interaction, driver familiarisation, vehicle technology, training and sales support
.

You don’t need to be an experienced trainer. What matters is that you have strong HGV driving experience, a passion for trucks and the confidence and personality to work with customers and drivers. We’ll help you develop the training and familiarisation skills required for the role.

• Deliver new Mercedes-Benz Trucksto customers and provide a professional, comprehensive handover
• Familiarise customers and drivers with their new vehicle, including controls, safety systems, technology and driver assistance features.
• Develop your knowledge of Mercedes-Benz digital services, telematics and vehicle technology
  and demonstrate these to customers.
• Support customer and driver demonstrations.
• Manage the sales team's demonstrator vehicles
  , ensuring they are clean, compliant, maintained and ready for use.
• Coordinate demonstrator servicing, workshop bookings and compliance requirements.
• Manage demonstrator and handover diaries and bookings.
• Coordinate demonstrator servicing, workshop bookings and compliance requirements.

• Provide logistical support to the sales team, including vehicle collection and delivery.
• Liaise with bodybuilders and ancillary equipment suppliers
  , coordinating vehicle movements for bodywork, preparation and installation.
• Support the sales team with customer vehicle collections and deliveries throughout the sales process.
• Complete further-afield vehicle handovers, including occasional overnight stays.
• Work closely with Sales, Aftersales, Workshops, bodybuilders and customers to ensure vehicles are delivered on time and to the required standard.
• Ensure every customer leaves their handover confident and comfortable operating their new truck

• HGV Class 1 driving licence.
