Week 2 - 10:30AM - 7PM
£13.18 Per Hour

Job Summary
My client is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks, managing warehouse activities, and ensuring the efficient handling of materials.
Duties
 
* Follow procedures within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and safety
 
* Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report defects
 
* Load and unload vehicles
 
* Move, stack and store products in designated warehouse locations
 
* Accurately pick and place orders in the designated delivery locations
 
* Assist in daily stock audits
 
* Maintain a flexible approach to work
 
* Carry out general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
 
* Proven experience operating forklift trucks (valid certification preferred)
 
* Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
 
* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment
 
* Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and stock organisation
 
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
 
* Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately
 
* Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
 
* Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable
 
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
