This job will involve supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing environment, including goods receipt, stock control, order picking, packing, dispatch activities, and the movement of materials to ensure production and customer delivery requirements are met.

The Material Control Operative Job is permanent and full time, your hours will be:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.

To be successful as the Distribution and Material Control Operative
, it is essential that you have previous experience in goods-in, dispatch, warehousing, or stock handling activities
. Experience in a manufacturing environment and forklift truck operation would be desirable.

• Receive, check and book goods into the correct locations accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and check products in line with customer and distribution requirements.
• Load and unload vehicles safely using a forklift truck.
• Support stock control activities, including cycle counting, stock rotation and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Health and Safety awareness in warehouse environment
