The Account Manager will establish long-term partnerships with internal and external clients through daily communications providing exceptional service, account status, and accurate pricing on product or service needs. Manage multiple projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Provide superior client service through daily interaction with internal/external partners and sales reps. Makes clients and their needs a primary focus on one’s actions.
- Advance knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot all Everidge products and vendor buyout items, including refrigeration, glass doors and steel support packages.
- Advance system and process knowledge of Computaire, our proprietary quote solution program, Microsoft Dynamics/AX, Sales Force, and SharePoint.
- Manage complex projects from start to finish with urgency and efficiency.
- Understand client specifications and requirements for complex projects. Develop suggestions for improvements.
- Provide complex quotes to clients per their written specifications using a custom configurator tool.
- Schedule ship dates for complex orders in a timely manner to avoid production related issues. Identify projects that need to be moved up in the priority level.
- Review, understand and explain accurately complex drawings in multiple formats. Identify errors before going into production. Analyze and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to meet common objectives. Develop resolutions and process improvements.
- Research complex issues or processes to develop resolutions.
- Demonstrates support for innovation and changes needed to improve the organization’s effectiveness. Be a contributor and leader in company continuous improvement efforts.
- Required to visit one day in the manufacturing plant annually to observe and shadow a trainer to get an understanding of the manufacturing process.
- AA or BS preferred or equivalent experience.
- 2-5+ years dealing with business customers
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Exceptional verbal and written customer service and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities in a technical environment, including research and analytical skills – blueprint reading and strong basic math skills are a plus
- Established skills in time management and multi-tasking responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter but also a strong team player with a “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet deadlines and workload fluctuations.
- Ability to sit/stand behind a desk for 8 hours a day.
