Budget is seeking an experienced Automotive Claims and Fleet Manager to oversee fleet maintenance operations, body damage claims processing, and vendor relationships with the efficiency and precision of a high-performing service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee vehicle in‑fleeting and out‑fleeting processes, including thorough inspections, onboarding, and decommissioning.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of vehicle condition, mileage, and associated costs from acquisition through auction.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and control repair expenses.
  • Ensure full compliance with OEM guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates with attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with approved body shops, review and authorize supplements, and expedite claim closures.
  • Manage insurance documentation and follow‑up processes efficiently.
  • Monitor fuel usage, expenses, KDHE certifications, and required reporting.
  • Optimize fuel budgets through effective cost management.
  • Maintain adequate stock of tools, supplies, and parts to support uninterrupted technician productivity.
  • Eliminate downtime caused by inventory shortages.
  • Cultivate strong, long‑term partnerships with body shops, parts suppliers, and fuel vendors.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing, service‑level agreements, and turnaround times that exceed industry standards.

  • Demonstrated success in vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Preferred:
    Proficiency with inventory management software or fleet maintenance tracking systems.
