Job Title: RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Andover, Kansas

Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), Every Other Weekend (EOW) required

Pay Rate: $35 - $38 per hour (based on experience)

Differentials:

• Night Shift: $4.00 per hour
• Holiday: 50% of base rate (for six major holidays)

Job Summary:

We are hiring ICU Registered Nurses to provide high-quality acute care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ICU RN will assess, monitor, and support critically ill patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires strong critical thinking, patient advocacy, and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively.

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and respond to condition changes.
• Provide direct nursing care, including evaluation, treatment, and patient education.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress according to hospital policies.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred).
• Nursing diploma accepted if completed before or during the 1980s.
• Active RN license issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred (must obtain within six months of hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required (must obtain within six months of hire).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred (must obtain within six months of hire).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
