We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Director / Senior Director - Strategic Business Advisory to join a growing CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Boston area.

This is a senior-level opportunity for a strong public accounting professional who can operate across Tax, Accounting, Assurance and Advisory and become a trusted resource to business owners and senior client contacts.

This is a broad, client-facing role designed for someone who understands that the best advice doesn't always fit neatly into one service line.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Own and develop significant client relationships
• Advise privately held businesses, entrepreneurs and middle-market organisations
• Lead and review complex Corporate, Partnership and Individual Tax engagements
• Provide year-round tax planning and strategic advice
• Review financial statements and accounting deliverables
• Lead review and compilation engagements
• Apply accounting and assurance knowledge to complex client situations
• Work directly with owners, CFOs and senior client stakeholders
• Partner with firm leadership on complex client matters
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors and Associates
• Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
• Help shape the continued development of the Strategic Business Advisory function

The strongest candidates will be those who have built breadth throughout their career rather than

becoming narrowly specialized.

$190,000-$270,000 base

A senior compensation package reflecting the level of experience, client responsibility and leadership expected from the successful candidate, with additional bonus potential.

You'll have meaningful responsibility for relationships rather than simply being another layer of review within a large engagement structure.

Tax, accounting, financial reporting and assurance work come together in one role, giving you the opportunity to use the full range of your public accounting experience.

You'll work closely with Partners and firm leadership on significant clients, complex issues and strategic opportunities.

You'll be trusted to make decisions, manage relationships and develop your team without everything needing to move through multiple levels of approval.

The role offers the opportunity to grow your influence within the firm and take on increasingly significant client, leadership and business-development responsibilities.

Your background will ideally include:

• 8+ years of public accounting experience
• Active CPA license
• Strong Corporate / Business Tax experience
• Individual and Partnership tax exposure
• Strong accounting and financial statement knowledge
• Review and/or compilation experience
