Working alongside the Director of Track and Field, coaching responsibilities include supporting novice, intermediate, and advanced hurdlers to develop hurdling technique and overseeing workouts for athletes who primarily compete in the 100m/110m hurdles and 300m hurdles. All coaches on staff also contribute to meet day operations.
Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday-Saturday) starting March 23, 2025, through the third weekend in May. Afternoon practices during the season typically run from 3:15 – 5 p.m., as well as meets, both home and away, on most Saturdays during the spring term. No benefits are provided.
The Strongest Applicants Will Have The Following Qualifications:
- Ability to positively motivate, inspire, and serve as a role model to high-school-aged students.
- Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff.
