Science Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach classes at the high school level.
• Work with team of teachers in planning curriculum, activities, and interdisciplinary units and special projects essential.
• A willingness to share supervisory responsibilities essential.

• Massachusetts certification in appropriate subject area.
• Previous secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Socratic approach and to incorporate thinking skills in instruction.
• Experience in subject area curriculum development preferred.
• Some computer literacy and familiarity with educational software preferred.
