Overview
Tutors will provide mathematics and/or literacy instruction and assessment for eligible Title I students, as well as collaborate with teachers and administrators regarding Title I programming to ensure student success.
Responsibilities- Instruct individual and small groups of students in mathematics and/or literacy.
- Conduct assessments and maintain instructional data for Title I students.
- Participate in parent Title I engagement and meetings.
Demonstrate effective collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
QualificationsTeacher Certification required: MA DESE Elementary License for Grades 1-6 or MA DESE Middle School License.
CompensationDirect service to students between 6-19 hours per week at the tutor rate $54.22/hr with up to two hours of weekly planning time at $38.81/hr.
Reports toBuilding Principal, Title I Director and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
Duration and FundingThe duration of this position runs from approximately 9/15/25 - 6/5/26. This position is contingent upon Title I grant funding for the academic year. Continued employment is dependent on annual renewal of Title I funding.
