Mercury Systems is seeking an Engineering Operations Co-Op to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on exposure to multiple aspects of engineering and product development by supporting the Engineering Operations team throughout the new product development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners and gain insight into how products move from concept to launch.
Job ResponsibilitiesCreating, improving, and maintaining project management processes and templates
Managing project schedules, meeting minutes, action items, and budgets
Supporting engineering teams during the development and release process
Independently managing assigned projects from planning through execution
- Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or Operations
- A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Macros
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
Basic understanding of engineering development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Ability to interpret technical information and document it clearly
- Strong communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Previous internship experience
Experience with MS Project, Jira, and/or Confluence
