An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for an engineering manager to join our semiconductor foundry engineering leadership team within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.

What You Will Do
  • Review process changes, identify and champion process improvement opportunities, work to improve process yields, and interface with operations management
  • Review and oversee project schedules and costs, drive capital acquisition and qualification, execute process improvement and development activities for the foundry
  • Facilitate the effective allocation of team resources in ways to support the oversight of the foundry processes, assist in identifying future capital investment needs, and foster open communication between functional teams
  • Work with the department manager on manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, developing and delivering employee performance reviews, and developing/reviewing proposals
  • Support management at the department, directorate, and functional leadership levels
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) or more years of relevant experience with semiconductor processing or process integration (An advanced STEM degree could count for 3 years of experience)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
  • A Master’s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field
  • Experience working with GaAs, GaN, GaSb, and/or acoustic semiconductor processes
  • Relevant experience related to semiconductor process engineering for automated inspection and pick and place operations
  • Relevant experience related to semiconductor production test, both DC and RF
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and related SPC software
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills
  • Project scheduling and management experience
  • Previous experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Current DoD Secret level security clearance
What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD – 203,000 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
