Skyworks Solutions is seeking a talented intern to develop new high-frequency BAW filter modules. The selected individual will join the BAW design team, focusing on the design, development, and delivery of next-generation BAW filter designs for Skyworks’ WiFi, Automotive, Infrastructure, and IoT customers. The successful candidate will utilize simulations, feasibility & topology studies, and technology assessments to deliver compelling products and help drive advanced technology development.

We are seeking a student to work onsite in our Andover, MA design center from June/July – December 2026.

• Work activities include: mason level circuit feasibility simulations, topology studies, evaluation of stack parameters, and their trade-offs.
• Compiling complicated results and sharing with the team in a clean, concise, well-organized format or design review.
• Tape out new filter design.
• EM simulations as necessary.

• University student, currently enrolled in an MSEE/PhD Program in the field of acoustics (BAW preferred, but will consider other similar acoustic fields).
• Must be able and available to work starting June/July 2026.
• Periodic online meetings with our international team is a requirement.

• Strong understanding of BAW device physics is a plus.
• Good understanding of ladder filter topology and design techniques is also a plus.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 – $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 – $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
