Test and Validation Engineers develop and improve test processes analyzing product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes to support customer requirements. You would apply your knowledge and skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams and provide technical direction for the test and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and test equipment. What You Will Do Focus on strategies to enhance production efficiency, optimize testing methodologies, and maintain high-quality standards through collaboration and continuous improvement.

* Leveraging Expertise:
Utilize in-depth product and test equipment knowledge to resolve production issues quickly and reduce downtime.

* Scalable Test Environments:
Develop robust, scalable test systems, collaborating with test equipment maintenance and engineering teams to ensure reliability and implement improvements.

* Technical Support:
Provide technical troubleshooting for hardware testing and support defect resolution through root cause analysis (RCCA) and corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

* Data-Driven Insights:
Analyze production test data to ensure compliance, identify trends, and drive process and testing strategy improvements.

* Documentation and Standards:
Maintain accurate and accessible test-related documentation, ensuring all guidelines are up-to-date and adhered to during rework and retesting.

* Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement by analyzing test data, optimizing methodologies, and implementing best practices.

* Collaboration:

Foster cross-functional collaboration among stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Offices to align goals and objectives.

* Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

* 8+ years of prior experience in Test Engineering

* Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
