Summary:
This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on RF engineering with technical leadership. You will have significant ownership of challenging RF designs, work across the full product development lifecycle, and play a key role in developing a talented RF engineering team within a growing technology organization. The ideal candidate is a technically strong, hands-on RF engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, driving designs to production, and helping develop the capabilities of other engineers.
Responsibilities:
* Take technical ownership of complex RF designs throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through detailed design, development, verification, and production
* Design and develop RF circuits, modules, and subsystems for advanced communications applications
* Provide hands-on technical leadership to a small team of RF engineers, including mentoring, technical guidance, and skill development
* Lead the resolution of complex technical issues related to RF design, product integration, manufacturing, and test
* Develop and execute RF test and troubleshooting strategies for RF/microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transition of new RF designs from development into production and manufacturing Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
* 8+ years of experience in RF engineering and high-reliability product development
* Extensive hands-on experience in RF/microwave circuit design
* Experience taking new RF designs through design, verification, manufacturing, and production
* Knowledge of RF simulation and design tools such as Microwave Office, Keysight Path Wave Advanced Design System (ADS), Ansys HFSS, or Cadence AWR Design Environment
* Strong understanding of RF theory
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Ability to provide technical leadership within an integrated product development environment
* Ability and willingness to remain hands-on technically while providing leadership and mentorship to other engineers
