Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders.

Join our team as an ABA Counselor-Early Intervention, where you ll play a crucial role in providing direct instruction and intervention to young children with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you ll implement teaching plans tailored to each child s unique requirements, fostering their growth and development during this critical stage of life. Each day will present new challenges as you work within home, residential, and school environments.

• Part time hours between 8:30-6pm
• $22-25 per hour

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology
• Coursework in early childhood development or young children with special needs preferred
• Valid US driver’s license and minimum age of 21
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education

• Provide direct instruction and intervention to assigned clients in their home and community environments
• Assist in implementing individualized teaching plans under BCBA supervision
• Ensure safety and adherence to health protocols during sessions
• Collect and analyze data for ongoing assessment and development of treatment plans
• Maintain effective communication with parents and multidisciplinary team members
• Create a fun and engaging environment to enhance client motivation and learning
