Desktop Support Specialist

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist & Systems Administrator in Andover, MA. This is a direct hire role with a hybrid workstyle.

This person will own day-to-day IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, and infrastructure operations across six locations. Working alongside a Senior Systems Administrator, this hands-on role encompasses user provisioning, asset management, cybersecurity support, and vendor coordination — with an opportunity to grow into Net Suite administration and broader technology ownership over time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier II help desk support for hardware, software, networking, Microsoft 365, and end-user technology issues across six locations
• Administer Microsoft 365 — including user accounts, licensing, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online — and manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Help Desk, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related IT role
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and Windows-based systems, including user provisioning, identity and access management, and endpoint administration
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, patch management, endpoint protection, networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless), and access controls
