The Chief Legal Officer will oversee legal strategy within the country, aligning with Enel Group GC and global business line guidelines, and ensuring local implementation of global legal policies.

• Manage the Legal team to implement the global legal strategy.
• Oversee the budget for the Legal function, balancing the use of internal and external legal resources.
• Provide legal guidance on business topics.
• Manage compliance issues such as anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, privacy, and other legal matters for entities at the country level.
• Coordinate country litigations with holding/global and local business lines and service functions.

• Deep understanding of the commercial dynamics of the energy business and extensive experience in renewable energy.
• Strong foundation in corporate, contract, employment, M&A and regulatory law.
• At least 5 years of experience managing an in‑house legal team in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in the U.S.
• 10+ years experience in energy law covering renewable project development, M&A, project financing, procurement contracts for construction and operation of power plants, and commercial contracts for energy (PPA).

• Pay range: $275,000 to $412,000 per year (base pay based on experience, education, etc.).
