RTX Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management skills who will be closely accountable for ensuring supplier performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program goals, and must be able to successfully interface with varying levels of management.
What You Will Do:- Manage and implement material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) (as applicable)
- Support Gates 0-11 activities, EAC review, program review, and risk and opportunity management reviews
- Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, supply chain metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
- Support supply chain proposal activities including pricing and bases of estimates.
- Develop, lead, and implement common schedule creation, supply chain proposal activities, and risk/opportunity plans to meet program goals.
- Be a member of the program office that participates in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, Program Change Control Board (PCCB), Risk & Opportunity Review Board (RORB), and Engineering Review Board (ERB).
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as required
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Proven Practical Experience in SAP/PRISM
- Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
- Ability to balance reasonable thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
- Experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project)
- Experience in PRISM and SAP
- Working experience as a Cost Account Manager
- Experience with proposal efforts
- Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent
- Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principles
Salary Range: 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD
