Machine Operator B – 3rd Shift

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Onsite)

Starting Wage: $31.74 per hour

• Work to verbal, written, and computer instructions.
• Select tooling, fixturing, machine feeds, speeds, and methods, including calculating dimensions, to support machining operations.
• Use precision measuring equipment to machine and inspect parts and assemblies.
• Deburr parts using available methods.
• Mark and identify parts as required.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment/processes simultaneously.
• Advance or retrieve product, material, and tooling for self and others.
• Perform all duties included in the Machine Operator C classification as directed.
• Maintain the workplace, tools, and equipment through general upkeep and housekeeping.
• Keep records, move materials, and follow safety rules in performing duties.
• Carry out other related duties as required or directed.
• Operate all CNC and manually controlled machines needed for machining and inspection, and use holding fixtures, tooling, hand tools, and inspection equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Machine Trades, Machining, and/or Maintenance.

• Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement; wage and shift times are governed by that agreement. Employees will be represented by a union.
