Position: ICU Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our critical care team as a full-time ICU APP. This role offers a consistent 7-on/7-off day shift block schedule, strong physician support, and excellent opportunities for growth within a high-acuity environment.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time ICU APP role
  • Block schedule:
    Day shift 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Collaborative practice environment with physician back-up available at all times
  • Hands-on training available for ICU procedures

Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure (required)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in critical care or emergency medicine
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU
  • Perform daily rounds, manage admissions, and respond to emergencies
  • Collaborate closely with intensivists and hospital staff
  • Participate in procedures with available training and mentorship
