The role supports laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, data compilation, report writing, and process optimization for biotherapeutic products from pre-clinical to commercialization stages.
Key Responsibilities- Support development of parenteral formulations for biotherapeutic modalities such as monoclonal antibodies, proteins, mRNA, and vaccines.
- Perform comprehensive characterization of molecules using techniques like HPLC, Capillary Gel Electrophoresis, Spectroscopy, and light obscuration to assess stability and quality.
- Assist in laboratory support activities, including reagent management and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for formulation optimization and product progression.
- Prepare data summaries, verify data accuracy, and utilize lab systems for data collection and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with scientists, project managers, and colleagues across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, or related field.
- At least 1 year of industry experience using chromatography, preferably HPLC.
- Knowledge of biologics such as proteins, enzymes, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, or mRNA, and their analytical characterization.
- Strong computer skills and ability to analyze data sets.
- Eligible to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.
- Experience with HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, and analytical techniques.
- Effective communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
