Bench Scientist - II - USD

• Position: Bench Scientist
• Location: Andover, MA
• Pay: $43/hour
• Duration: 2-year contract

This position focuses on mammalian cell culture, stable CHO cell line generation, cell banking, and expression assessments. You'll work hands-on with cell line development and transfection studies while supporting lab operations and collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

• Maintain, thaw, and prepare mammalian host cell line cultures using aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Plan and execute stable cell line generation using plate-based and flask-based transfections.
• Manage DNA plasmid libraries, including receiving, tracking, and coordinating materials between teams.
• Present data packages to project teams and collaborators while supporting general laboratory operations, equipment management, and supply ordering.

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant laboratory or research experience.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and sterile technique.
• Familiarity with flow cytometry, gel electrophoresis, data tracking, and general laboratory protocols.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Automation experience and Python coding skills are a plus.
