Job Description
The individual will join a team of scientists and engineers focused on developing and optimizing mammalian cell culture processes for recombinant proteins and biologics for early-phase and late-phase clinical trials. He or she will be responsible for executing mammalian cell culture experiments in bench‑top bioreactors and associated scale‑down equipment with the goal of developing robust, scalable, high‑productivity processes that produce therapeutic proteins with the appropriate product quality attributes for use in treating human disease.
The work will also involve working with clinical production facilities to ensure accurate technology transfer and successful large‑scale production.
- Plan and execute experiments in shake flasks and bench‑top bioreactors.
- Ensures timely, effective, and high‑quality documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Communicate results and findings to stakeholders on a regular basis; presents data/strategy to colleagues and management as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues both within the group and cross‑functionally contributes to maintaining and improving upon our safe, effective, and efficient lab operations.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience,
OR - Master’s degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong aseptic laboratory technique (required)

- Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

This is a full‑time, onsite position based on a first‑shift schedule Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA, are strongly encouraged to apply.
