Upstream Process Development Scientist

Pay Range

$26.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Eurofins PSS is a professional scientific services provider, delivering analytical testing services across industries to ensure product safety, authenticity, and accurate labelling.

The individual will join a team of scientists and engineers focused on developing and optimizing mammalian cell culture processes for recombinant proteins and biologics for early- and late-phase clinical trials. Responsibilities include executing experiments in bench‑top bioreactors, supporting technology transfer, and ensuring high‑quality therapeutic protein production for human disease treatment.

• Plan and execute experiments in shake flasks and bench‑top bioreactors.
• Maintain timely, effective, high‑quality documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Communicate results and findings to stakeholders regularly; present data and strategy to colleagues and management.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the group and cross‑functionally to maintain and improve safe, effective, and efficient lab operations.

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong aseptic laboratory technique (required).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Clear and effective oral and written communication.
• A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

• 10–15 minute phone interview with region recruiter.
• 45–60 minute virtual interview with manager and/or group leader.
• 45–60 minute in‑person meeting to meet the team.

This is a full‑time, onsite position based on a first‑shift schedule Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA, are strongly encouraged to apply.
