DesiredQualifications
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license, Tier 3 or Tier 4 (required)
- Demonstrated experience or training working with elementary-aged students with autism and other developmental needs
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and data-driven progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
- A compassionate and flexible mindset to adapt to changing student needs and classroom dynamics
- Design, implement, and adapt specialized instruction for students in the Ready, Set, Launch program
- Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to ensure holistic support for all learners
- Develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in student progress meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that values and nurtures the abilities of each student
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates, resources, and support as needed
- Contribute to a well-established, innovative special education program
- Long-term placement for consistent relationship-building
- Structured weekday schedule (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
