Base pay range: $85,800.00/yr – $91,000.00/yr

• Schedule:
  
  7 Days ON / 7 Days OFF.
• Pay ranges between $3,300 and $3,500 per working week (depending on experience).
• No cap on overtime.
• 24‑hour shifts – can pick up shifts on your week off.

City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operations with multiple station locations across Texas, including Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and many others. We are currently looking to expand our team of EMT‑Basics in the West Texas Region (Odessa, Monahans, Seminole & surrounding areas). We are seeking experienced, dedicated, and motivated EMTs to join our team and provide the advanced level of patient care that our patients and partners have come to expect from City Ambulance Service.

• Respond to calls for emergency and non‑emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first‑aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients.
• Explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
• Report observations and treatment to physicians or other healthcare facility staff.
• Document medical care given to patients promptly and effectively.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance, and station locations daily.

• Ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level.
• Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties.
• Experience with MICU‑level transports including IV pump, ventilator, and cardiac monitoring.
• Valid State of Texas (or other compact state) EMT‑Basic license – REQUIRED.
• Preferred: 2 years experience in Emergency Medical Services.
