Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot faulty equipment, determining repair procedure.
• Perform Required Repairs to rolling equipment, electrical equipment, and air systems.
• Clean, service, and repair fiberglass equipment.
• Perform regular PM Maintenance on forklifts and vehicles.
• Operate equipment, power tools, assembly jigs and material handling equipment (including, but not limited to, circular saws, hand drills, sanders, etc.).
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of Maintenance Experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair, and assembly operations.
• A forklift license is preferred but not required
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Ability to work the required shift routinely scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
