Seeking a Code Vessel Welder for a busy company!
Job duties include:
- Perform welding operations according to approved WPS and applicable welding codes
- Weld using processes such as SMAW, GTAW (Tig), GMAW (Mig), and/or FCAW
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components
- Maintain weld quality to meet visual, radiographic, and ultrasonic inspection standards
- Operate welding and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Document welds and maintain required quality and inspection records
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and job-site protocols
- Work with inspectors and supervisors to resolve weld issues or repairs
- Experience with pipe welding (carbon, steel, stainless, alloy)
