Part-Time Primary Level Chinese Tutors

We are an education centre located in Ang Mo Kio and Hougang, looking for passionate and experienced part‑time Primary level Chinese Teachers to join us in 2025! All Materials and Training will be provided. Back to back classes arranged. Maximum of 8 students a class. The shortlisted candidate must have relevant classroom teaching experience. Attractive Hourly Rate:

• Primary Level: $35/hr to $60/hr

• Deliver engaging and interactive Chinese lessons in accordance with Star Champs’ curriculum for students in the Primary level

• Be observant and responsive to each student’s learning pace and level of understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure active participation in class.
• Mark students’ work and provide additional support to weaker learners.
• Handle classroom administration and maintain proper student records.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
• Provide term progress reports and updates on students’ performance and progress.
• Create and maintain a safe, conducive, and positive learning environment for all students.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree in any discipline (Chinese or Education-related preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of Chinese teaching experience
• Must be an engaging teacher who can capture students’ attention and make learning enjoyable
• Must have a keen eye for observing students
  , understanding their learning needs, and adapting lessons accordingly
• Passionate about helping every child learn with confidence
• Comfortable with the use of technology in class (e.g. Laptop, Projector, tablets)
• Classes available on weekdays from 4 pm onwards and weekends from 10 am
• Must be able to commit for one full academic year (2 January – 30 November 2026)
• Able to attend Teacher's Training in December 2025 (compulsory)
