Job Responsibilities

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving our marine electronics solutions to potential clients by working closely with the sales, engineering, and product teams. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to understand customer needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and deliver tailored solutions for marine environments.

Technical Consultation
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific marine electronics requirements.
  • Provide expert technical advice and consultations on product capabilities and system solutions.
Solution Development
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and tailor solutions that address these requirements.
  • Develop and present proposals, including system diagrams, configurations, and cost estimates, ensuring technical accuracy and competitive positioning.
Product Demonstrations
  • Conduct in‑depth product demonstrations and live presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our marine electronic solutions.
  • Organize and lead technical workshops and seminars for clients and partners.
Customer & Vendor Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, vendors and industry professionals.
  • Act as the technical liaison between the sales team and engineering/product development to identify and address customer feedback and concerns.
Market & Product Knowledge
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the marine electronics industry.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product development teams for continuous improvement of existing and future products.
Bid & Tender Support
  • Support the preparation of bid and tender documents to ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Review and contribute to contractual documentation and technical literature for project proposals.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or pre‑sales engineering roles or system integration.
  • Understanding of sensors systems such as radar, EO, etc., networks, IT and electronics systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in working with international clients and multicultural teams.
  • Professional certifications in Sales and Engineering are advantageous.
  • Passion for marine and nautical technology.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, trade shows, and industry events as required.
