Automation Lead

• Own and lead the test automation strategy for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium (web) and Appium (mobile).
• Test applications deployed on Kubernetes or Open Shift, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance.
• Create and manage mock servers using tools like Postman to simulate external systems and validate interface behavior.
• Liaise directly with customers to plan and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct user training sessions and provide post-commissioning support to ensure smooth adoption.
• Collaborate with developers, Dev Ops, and product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Work with Dev Ops to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Dev Ops).
• Lead a small QA team and promote best practices in automation and testing.
• Track and manage defects using tools like Azure Dev Ops.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience with Selenium for web testing and Appium for mobile testing.
• Experience testing applications deployed on Kubernetes or Open Shift.
• Hands-on experience creating mock servers or using tools like Mock Server, or Postman Mock Server.
• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows and integrating automated tests.
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and user training.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Red Hat Open Shift and/or Kubernetes certification.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of container security and compliance practices.
• Knowledge of security testing practices (e.g., SAST/DAST, Fortify Web Inspect).
