Licensed Vocational Nurse; LVN

Cypress Woods Care Center is hiring LVNs for FT Day shift, Night Shift, and PRN positions available.

The primary purpose of the LPN / LVN is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Health Care Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

• Sign on Bonus $4,000
• Daily pay available

The LPN / LVN is responsible for providing nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and for supervising the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services.

• Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Administering medication
• Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Collecting specimen samples when needed
• Taking an active part in patient care planning
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Assisting in medical procedures
• Managing emergency medical situations

Must have a valid LPN / LVN license in good standing.

• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
